Black Iron V1
C++17 / SDL3 / Lua game engine and 2D editor. Tile-first worlds, content pipeline, in-engine builder path. The structure other surfaces plug into.
Black Iron builds a GPU-native engine, a local inference runtime for in-world AI, and desktop surfaces that keep companions, NPCs, and quests on NVIDIA hardware — not a rented cloud.
We are a product studio. We do not sell consulting, outsourcing, cloud seats, or cryptocurrency. The GPU stays the mind. The world stays on the machine.
C++17 / SDL3 / Lua game engine and 2D editor. Tile-first worlds, content pipeline, in-engine builder path. The structure other surfaces plug into.
Optional local inference sidecar for quests, NPC guidance, and companions. Designed to run on NVIDIA GPUs at the desk, with a scripted baseline when a model is not in the loop.
Windows desktop product: journal, S.Book scrapbook, tools, and a builder hardline. The human-facing surface of the same stack.
Choice-shaped rolls for loot DNA, personality, and succession. Software rung live. Hardware later. It does not replace the GPU.
Development already runs on RTX-class workstations. Inception is how we go from “it runs on the card” to TensorRT-class inference and, later, Omniverse / Isaac as worlds go 3D and physical.
Black Iron is a privately held, bootstrapped product company. Founded by Marcello F. Emiliani — AI systems architect, game-engine builder, and creative director. Pre-revenue. Shipping software, not a pitch with no code.
Designs and ships the engine, the local runtime, and the desktop surfaces. Technical focus: game systems in C++, local LLM runtimes, and product UX for AI that lives on a workstation.
Less than 10 years old. At least one developer. Working website. Not a public company, not a consultancy, not a cloud provider, not a reseller, not a crypto firm.
